| Nathan took the truck in this morning, and the transmission needs to be rebuilt. It will be at least 2 days for the repair, so we will be exploring the area around Hammond, LA. Here are some pics from the trip thus far. Packing up to move!

| After 4 days of packing we arrived at my parents house at 1am. We slept in, finished packing up our traveling bags and left around noon. About 50 miles down the road, one of our brand new trailer tires blew. With the help of my Dad, we had the tire changed and were back on the road in 20 minutes. We were precisely 50 miles from anywhere that had a tire place, so we had to drive slow on our spare as it was old and we didn't trust it. It took a couple of hours to get a new tire and we put a new tire on the spare so we wouldn't have to drive slow if there was another blowout. It was determined that the tire that blew must have been defective. While we were waiting on Nathan, the girls and I went to Wal Mart and we discovered a surprise that I will have to tell you about later. We made it to Gainesville and called it a night. Not as far as we wanted, but the tire thing had eaten up too much time. In the morning, we noticed that another of the trailer tires was low, so we switched it out with the new spare. Somewhere in Mississippi, Nathan's big truck started shifting weird, and as the evening progressed it got worst. We pulled of the road around 6 in Hammond, LA and we are stuck until we can get a transmission shop to take a look at the truck. Nathan thinks it is the torque converter. We covet your prayers as we continue our journey.

| Hi everyone, I hope this post finds you all enjoying the CHRISTmas season!!! We are continuing to get ready for our move to Denver and are currently planning a yard sale for this weekend!!! It never ceases to amaze me how much stuff that we have. No mater how many times I have been through it, each time I can still find more stuff to get rid of. I am also planning a 4th birthday party For Natalie. I think that we are going to have an all girl princess tea party and then afterwards take a trip to the mall for dinner and build-a-bear!! I am so excited, I know she is going to love it!! I know that I have never posted the pictures of Amberly's birthday party so here they are!

| Hello Everyone, Wow..., I know that it has been a long time since I have posted an entry, but I am back with lots to share!! So what is new????????? We are moving to Denver Jan. 3 of 2009!!! Nathan the girls and I are so very excited!!!! Natalie can't wait to see snow, and wants to know if we can build a snowman. :) Now I am sure you are all wondering if we have sold our house. We have not :(, but we have found someone to rent from us for the next 18 months. In the mean time we will be praying that the market takes a turn for the better and that God sends us a buyer!! We are planning on leaving most of our big furniture here at our house in Florida and renting a small 2 bedroom condo or apartment in Denver until our house finally sells. Things are moving at a very fast pace now and I think that for the next month it will be all I can do to keep up!! There are so many friends and family that we want to see and hang out with before we go. Then there is Thanksgiving and Christmas! So much to do and accomplish. Please be praying for us as I am sure that even though this is an exciting time, it will with out a doubt be a stressful time! What have we been up to for the past few months??????? Well we have been working, and working, and working, (SIGH... ) on finishing up the remodel on our house. We are finally done and it looks so good!! Other than that we have not been doing a whole lot. I know right! How boring! The stress of having a husband who works two jobs (his 9-5 and home contractor) was almost more that we could both handle, and for several months I felt in survival mode. It is very hard to have your house turned upside down every day, with little girls who want to get into everything! When you are remodeling, it has to get worse before it gets better! Nathan and I have both agreed we will never buy another fixer upper! I thank God every day for my good friend Bekki, who let me and the girls crash at her house when we could not take it anymore. (Thank you Bekki!!) Now that the worst is behind us, we are eagerly looking forward to our transition to the Denver area. How are the girls and what are they up to????? Natalie is growing up so fast. she is wearing size 5 and she still has a month before she turns 4! Earlier this year I enrolled her in gymnastics and she has really loved it. She also started cubbies this fall and she loves that as well. We are really working hard at getting her to start helping around the house, and she has really stepped up to the challenge. (With a little bit of help) :), she can make her own bed, take the cloths out of the dryer, fold the dish towels, clean up her play room, and her newest job is unload the dishwasher! We are very proud of her and can't wait to see what God has for her. Amberly is just getting cuter and cuter everyday! She is the light of our lives. She absolutely loves her big sister and want's to do everything that Natalie does, including unloading the dishes! :) She just turned 1 last Thur. and is going to be walking before we know it. (She took two steps today!) She is such a little cuddler and she loves daddy almost as much as mommy. She can say "up" and "uh-oh", and she can sign "please", "more", and "all done". She loves to clap her hands and say YEA!!!!!! Well that will have to do for now, Amberly is up from her nap and I have to get ready for Awana!! Josie | | |
